Purpose Statement
"A National Historic Landmark, Slater Mill preserves, interprets and researches the birthplace of Industrialization in America and its collections for the benefit of all. The Mill develops an informed understanding of American heritage in innovative economic, industrial, cultural, artistic and social terms. Slater Mill provides high quality, relevant experiences designed to educated, entertain and inspire."
Operating as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Slater Mill Museum is supported by memberships, donations and grants. Your membership recieves our recognition and establishes you as a part of the Slater Mill community.
In becoming a member of the Slater Mill community your membership entitles you the benefits listed below along with our thanks for your contribution.
Individual Membership ($35)
- Free admission to Slater Mill for one year for one person
- 10% discount on all Museum Shop and Visitor Center Store purchases of $10 or more
- 5% discount on all Community Guild Studios classes, workshops and events
- Advances notification of all Slater Mill Museum events
Dual Membership ($50)
- Free admission to Slater Mill for one year for two adults in the same household
- 10% discount on all Museum Shop and Visitor Center Store purchases of $10 or more
- 5% discount on all Community Guild Studios class, workshops and events
- Advance notification of all Slater Mill Museum events
Contributing Membership ($100 or greater)
- Free admission to Slater Mill for one year for two adults and two children
- 10% discount on all Museum Shop and Visitor Center Store purchases of $10 or more
- 5% discount on all Community Guild Studios classes, workshops and events
- Reciprocal membership in the national Time Travelers network
- Advance notification of all Slater Mill Museum events
Supporting Membership ($500 or greater)
- Free admission to Slater Mill for one year for two adults and four children
- 10% discount on all Museum Shop and Visitor Center Store purchases of $10 or more
- 10% discount on all Community Guild Studios classes, workshops and events
- Two free guest passes
- Advance notification of all Slater Mill Museum events
Benefactor Membership ($1,000 or greater)
- Free admission to Slater Mill for one year for two adults and four children
- 10% discount on all Museum Shop and Visitor Center Store purchases of $10 or more
- 10% discount on all Community Guild Studios classes, workshops and events
- Four free guest passes
- Advance notification of all Slater Mill Museum events
- 10% discount on advance purchase tickets to Slater Mill Museum special events
